Alex is on a mission to improve mental health support for young people and has become prolific throughout the UK in his campaigning for Early Support Hubs.

Alex George gained widespread recognition as an A&E doctor, offering accessible and reassuring advice from the frontline during the Covid-19 pandemic. He has published three Sunday Times Bestsellers: “Live Well Every Day,” “The Mind Manual,” and “A Better Day,” the latter winning Book of the Year for Children’s Non-Fiction at the British Book Awards.

Beyond his writing, Alex presented the BBC One documentary “Dr Alex: Our Young Mental Health Crisis” and the much-discussed “Naked Education” on Channel 4. He also hosts his own show on Classic FM and the popular podcast, “Stompcast,” which highlights the benefits of walking in nature for mental and physical well-being. In each episode, he takes a walk with a guest at a location of their choice, delving into their lives and experiences.

Starting from his humble beginnings as a medical student, Alex has built a social media following of over a million people, using his platform to advocate for positive change. Passionate about mental and physical health, he is on a mission to incorporate mental health education into the national curriculum alongside subjects like math and English.
