Dame Sarah Storey is the UK’s most versatile and successful Paralympian of the modern era having claimed 3 Gold medals in the 2016 Games in Rio to take her tally to 14 Gold, 8 Silver and 3 Bronze medals across an unprecedented 7 Paralympic Games.

As Great Britain’s first competitor to win medals at 7 consecutive Games, in 2 sports and across 11 different events, Dame Sarah Storey is without doubt an athlete of extraordinary quality and versatility.

In addition to her Paralympic success, Dame Sarah Storey has won 29 World Championship gold medals, 23 of which have come in Cycling.

Spanning so many disciplines has seen Dame Sarah Storey take on the best in the world in non-Para sport and with unrivalled results.

As a part of the Great Britain Team Pursuit team,  Dame Sarah Storey assisted the team to qualify for the London Games by winning two World Cup titles and holding the then sea level world record. In 2010, her selection for the England team at the Delhi Commonwealth Games meant she was the first Para-cyclist to be selected to the non-Para team where she finished a credible 6th place in the 3000m Individual Pursuit.

Dame Sarah  Storey also has extensive experience of media work and is a very popular speaker at schools both in the classroom and on the stage at academic or sporting awards evenings.
