Every organisation has leaders who are capable of more than they consistently deliver. This keynote explores the human gap between potential and performance, using the MAGIC Wheel of High Performance and the 8 Pillars of High Performance Culture to help leaders strengthen mindset, decision making, ownership and the conditions they create for others. It is interactive, practical and built to help leaders think clearly under pressure, influence effectively and lead with greater confidence when it matters most.

Talent alone does not predict team performance. Behaviour does. This keynote helps teams understand the habits that separate a collection of capable individuals from a genuinely high-performing unit. Drawing on the MAGIC Wheel of High Performance and the 8 Pillars of High Performance Culture, Duncan explores how teams communicate under pressure, create role clarity, hold each other to standards, share information proactively and build the trust needed to execute consistently when conditions are difficult or changing.

Culture is not the perks an organisation offers. It is how people feel when they get up to come to work on a Monday morning. This keynote introduces Duncan’s 8 Pillars of High Performance Culture, the conditions that help people make progress, feel appropriately challenged, take ownership, feel recognised, connect with worthwhile purpose, co-create, care and enjoy the people they work with. It gives leaders and teams a practical shared language for creating an environment where high performance becomes the natural response.

It is often not change itself that catches organisations out, but the pace of change and the human response to it. This keynote helps people understand the four human barriers that can turn uncertainty into resistance, then gives them practical ways to interpret change more constructively, communicate with greater clarity and focus on what they can influence. The aim is to help leaders and teams reduce friction, increase buy-in and maintain performance while systems, expectations or priorities are shifting.

It is no longer organisation versus organisation. It is network versus network. Beyond Collaboration moves the conversation beyond simply working well together and asks how organisations can deliberately build stronger internal relationships, external partnerships and client networks. Duncan explores curiosity, empathy, courage and co-creation, helping audiences move from cooperation to genuine collaboration and from transactional relationships to partnerships that multiply intelligence, creativity and performance.

Effective Influence applies behavioural psychology to the everyday challenge of getting ideas heard, creating trust and moving people to positive action. Rather than relying on pressure, charisma or manipulation, Duncan explores practical ways to understand what matters to other people, ask better questions, communicate value more clearly and build relationships that last. The keynote is particularly useful for leaders, commercial teams and anyone whose success depends on gaining genuine commitment from colleagues, clients or stakeholders.

This is not a keynote about what AI can do. It is a keynote about what AI does to people. Duncan looks at AI through the lens of behavioural psychology and high performance, exploring what happens to identity, motivation, judgement, trust and meaning when technology changes how work gets done. Rather than technical hype or distant futurism, the session focuses on what leaders and teams can do now to stay adaptable, protect human capability and build confidence as AI becomes a bigger part of everyday work.
