Robbie Ferri - Living The Dream

After leaving school Robbie Ferri never knew what to do with his life he spent years fluttering round different jobs just doing going with the flow, never really satisfied in what he was doing. At 27 he was an electrician and didn’t enjoy what he was doing at all. With £100 to his name and a gift to buy his Sister and Brother in Law he wanted to do something really special so he bought a bike for £20, trained for 3 weeks and cycled 160 miles from London to Paris Solo and Unsupported to put a Love lock on the Pont Des Arts to celebrate their marriage. Having never really cycled before this was a huge achievement for him.

Since then all Robbie Ferri  has wanted to do is adventure!  After Paris Robbie took on the Challenge of cycling London to Brussels Solo and unsupported and finished 15 minutes before the 24 hours was up. Spurred on with the need for a more tough challenge, he decided to cycle 10 Countries in 10 days which he achieved in 9 days another amazing milestone!  Throughout these trips and with his social media profile growing Robbie took great pleasure in inspiring people to take up their own challenges and learn about themselves as he was doing.

The challenges started to get tougher and tougher which led him to take on London to Alp D Huez (A very famous Tour De France mountain on the French/Swiss border) Instead of waiting until summer he took the challenge on in winter. From -8 temperatures to being struck down by a car he said this was his toughest challenge yet.  Having completed the course he decided that one day he would attempt a world record!

With a big social media profile, teaching indoor cycling sessions and inspirational speaking  he was able to leave his job as an electrician and focus just on his cycling.

Within 2 years of starting cycling he faced the challenge of a World Record, he was attempting the most countries cycled in 7 days, unfortunately due to some knee problems he did not achieve this record but in the process did break the world record for the most countires cycled in 24 hours. Coming back from this challenge Robbie said he learn’t the most from it.

A year on he had another go and completed the world record for the most countries cycled in 7 days.

Robbie Ferri is now sharing his stories of his adventures and  the lessons he has learnt

Robbie Ferri Inspirational Speaker

Listening to the way you dealt with adversity, pain, lack of sleep and loneliness while on your world record breaking trips truly inspired me to move forward with my business and personal goals. I remember very clearly you saying “Sometimes you have to stop thinking about what hard times and pain lays ahead and just get on with it”

As a direct result of your, talk the next day I took on my first employee and haven't looked back since. I now have three tradesman working with me, a large workshop, a PA, office and canteen. I'm quoting and winning bigger jobs than I ever have and the future's looking bright. On a personal level when ever anything gets tuff those words come back to me. Without a doubt Robbie you have inspired me and I owe a lot of what I have achieved in the last 12 months to you.

Shane Catton (Catton Fabrications)

After one of Robbie's talks I put some of his simple suggestions into practise and my business has since grown by 20% and continues to do so. Not just that but changes have become apparent in all areas of my life in a very positive way. I believe I have a better outlook on life, knowing that I can achieve anything I want to if I focus my mind on it. I would highly recommend Robbie as a motivational speaker, his charm, enthusiasm for life and easy going nature are infectious and you can't help but smile as he takes you through some of his incredible achievements. He is certainly one not to miss!"

It was a great pleasure to have met Robbie Ferri. This guy pushes the boundaries of what is possible and it was a pleasure to have sponsored him in the early stages of his cycling career. I had the pleasure of hearing him speak at a business networking event and his passion and determination inspired the whole room. Hats off to this man!
