Blaire Palmer is a  Business motivational speaker who talks about, change and change management, leadership, teamwork and collaboration

Blaire Palmer is at the forefront of new thinking about what it means to lead in the 21st century. In her keynote speeches and development sessions she busts the myths of leadership and presents a more human, more authentic, more collaborative model of the leader of the future. Based on 15 years of working with Boards and senior teams as a coach and “agent provocateur”, Blaire Palmer shares her thought-provoking ideas with audiences around the world, inspiring them to step up and drive change in partnership with their people.

As one of the youngest female producers of the BBC’s flagship “Today Programme” Blaire Palmer spent a decade breaking stories and shaping the UK news agenda before her fascination with leadership and change led her to train as one of the UK’s first corporate coaches. Since then she’s become a world authority on leadership, writing 3 successful books on the subject in the process and is regularly quoted in the media.

Unlike many speakers on the subject her interest isn’t academic. Instead, Blaire Palmer draws on her insights as a jobbing coach who has spent a decade and a half challenging, supporting and guiding leaders as they shape their company. Her speeches give audiences unparalleled insight in to what’s happening in the most innovative Boardrooms in the UK and Europe, trends she’s spotting in her work and what actually works (and doesn’t) in real businesses.

Lively, thought-provoking, witty and direct, Blaire Palmer encourages audiences to challenge everything they thought they knew about leadership. Audiences love her energy, her down to earth approach and her depth of knowledge.

Blaire Palmer is also a regular guest expert on TV and radio including BBC Radio 2's Jeremy Vine show, BBC Breakfast News, BBC Working Lunch, Sky News, BBC World and is often quoted in the national press including The Financial Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, The Mirror and The Daily Mail amongst others. Blaire Palmer also writes a monthly column for the UK's best selling health glossy, Healthy Magazine. Blaire is also Chief Executive of That People Thing, a leadership consultancy.

Blaire Palmer was everything the EAIE wanted in a leadership speaker. In only 45 minutes she was able to turn everyone’s perceptions of leadership and management on its head. By the end of her talk we were all looking at leadership in a completely different light and our audience was able to apply a new perspective to their leadership roles – exactly our reason for hiring Blaire! They learned the difference in being a manager, and being a leader.

Blaire was extremely relevant and was able to clearly and simply get her message across to our international audience. A complete professional, she was keen to research our organisation and discuss in advance what it was we were looking for in her keynote speech. This paid off as Blaire delivered exactly what we wanted in Istanbul! For someone with such an impressive CV she was delightfully down-to-earth and accommodating. She is a must have for any conference! Highly recommended!” Nicole Hardaker Conference Programme Coordinator, European Association for International Education (EAIE).

"Blaire's presentation was inspiring, relevant, fresh and fun. There was a great sense of collaboration at our Top 100 Leaders meeting today and that was, in no small way, down to the thought-provoking messages and enthusiasm that Blaire brought to the event. Just what we needed." Petar Cvetkovic, Chief Executive, DX Group
